This is the message from the OECD, academia, industry, from NGO´s as well as from a broad range of maritime organizations, when discussing the future challenges and opportunities of the maritime industry. In other words, a singular focus, either from a health, technical, economic, social or regulatory perspective, is not fulfilling the need for research-based answers to the challenges and opportunities regarding the future of the maritime industry.
